During August of 2013, the release of crossover music album “Moment of Glory” took the world by storm. It shed a new light to classical music production. “Moment of Glory” has combined computer, electronic instruments with traditional symphony recording. By using MIDI to digitally edit, compose, record, and post-produce, Zong Jiang discovered new depth of music which only our generation is privileged to explore. Thanks to Zong’s brave adventure, he has now given classical music a new hope in both style and market. “Enchanted Wings”, included in “Moment of Glory”, had the entire audience drunk in its magic; as a result, Zong was invited by the Ministry of Education of Shanghai City to perform in the opening of The 12th Annual Sports Meet in Shanghai during July, 2014. Not only was Zong’s music recorded by famous Shanghai symphony, he was also the leading pianist during the opening ceremony, guiding 34 most talented pianist throughout China.
Less than a year, Zong was flooded with invitations. No matter it is soundtrack, crossover or popular, Zong’s music is widely appraised in both China and Taiwan. He has become one of the busiest freshmen amongst his peers. Due to their appreciation to “Moment of Glory”, the production team of Formosa TV “Lita Warriors” invited Zong to compose the soundtrack, opening and ending song for the program. Throughout the process, Zong “accidentally” give birth to his next album “Moment of Glory II: The First Original Score.” The opening, ending song of “Lita Warriors,” and two different editions of soundtrack “The Mermaid” were first release in online store. The opening song of “Lita Warriors” is exciting and invigorating; while “The Mermaid” is elegant and mellifluous. The style of “Moment of Glory II: The First Original Score” is a novelty in the market of soundtrack in Asia. Zong’s energetic creation, fluidity of style, and undeniable talent also gives Taiwan’s art scene a new note of inspiration. For the first time, Zong attempted post-production. In the future, Zong plan to be the Renaissance man in the field of music.
